Since forming in Coffs Harbour, NSW in 2009, Ebb N Flo have continued to develop their unique blend of Roots Rock Reggae. The solid 7 piece have established themselves as crowd favorites and party starters on the touring and festival circuits.

Having shared the stage with many industry heavy weights Ebb N Flo have again returned to the studio to follow up their well received debut EP “House Of Love” with their new single “Bump N Grind”. With the winter now over, Ebb N Flo will embark on an East Coast Australian tour to celebrate the release of their new single and music video.

The new release also sees the line up of Ebb N Flo change. As some former members parted ways to take on new challenges, the band went into hibernation during most of 2014 only to emerge from slumber like a hungry bear needing to fill an empty stomach. With new blood coming into the Flo, they not only take on a new look but vibrantly fresher sound. As their singer, guitarist and songwriter Martin Rudolph explains, “it’s refreshing, every song has a life of its own and keeps growing as we do as a band”.

With a massive announcement for 2016….Joining the band as lead singer we introduce SHANNON THOMPSON !

Shannon was born & raised in south Auckland NZ and came to Australia 1998. He started pursuing music in 1999. Gigging with a Sydney based R&B group called Cherish. 2001 went solo as SHAN.ONE Recording and shooting a video for A song called “feels real good” which was on regular rotation as the the only unsigned artist getting Airtime on MTV that year. 2004 Shannon was on the first Australian idol and made the top 40 along side Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll 2005 he had the honour of working and recording with producer/artist Israel Cruz who was responsible writing a lot of songs for Ricky Lee, Jessica melbouy , jay Sean, just to name a few 2006 – 2010 Formed a R&B/FUNK band called FEEL gigging all over Sydneys hotspots four nights a week. He Co-wrote and Featured in another video with Israel Cruz called KILL ME NOW • 2006 – till now Started producing and writing my life as a soul singer

Band line-up with Shannon includes….Martin Rudolph (lead vocals/lead guitar/songwriter) are Marley Ruxton (Keyboards/Samples/Vocals), Micky Seccombe (Drums), Troy Cheers (Bass/Vocals), Nicko Bird (Lead Guitar/Vocals/Percussion), Tyson Peters (Trombone/Vocals) and Pete McLennan (Trumpet) each adding unique flavors and rich harmonies resulting in their fresh Roots Rock Reggae laced with R&B, Hip Hop, Funk and ska.

In their early years these musicians crossed paths or gigged with each other around the North Coast of NSW, only to years later unite as Ebb N Flo, spreading the love and enjoyment of their infectious blend of reggae. The original group saw five Coffs Coast members and two Sydneysiders (now three and five, respectively) bouncing ideas over phone, emails, Skype, MP3’s and long weekends before touring and recording their EP “House of Love”.

Over the preceding years Ebb N Flo have toured extensively from Bondi to Byron Bay, every beach town in between and beyond. Sharing the stage with Katchafire, Bliss N Eso, The Beautiful Girls, Nicky Bomba, King Tide, Kaha, Afro Moses, Paua, The Black Sorrows and many more. Also performing at many festivals including Opens Arms, Stereo Sonic, Festival of the Sun, Curry Fest, Waitangi Day Gold Coast and more recently the inaugural Scotts Head Festival. Highlighted with a tour of Aotearoa NZ with original “Herbs” legend Willie Hona and Raglan’s finest, Zion Hill.

Ebb N Flo once again headlined The Scotts Head Festival in April 2015 to over 2500 people, the band is also very excited to be playing on this years Bello Festival in July
